Linguistic diversity in the classroom, student achievement, and social integration

چکیده
We analyze whether non-native speakers in the classroom affect students' educational achievement and social integration. In contrast to previous studies, which mainly examine effect of share immigrant pupils, we focus on language heterogeneity by using a novel measure degree linguistic diversity classroom. Conditional concentration class, has no adverse math skills, but worsens integration speakers. demonstrate robustness these findings variety sensitivity checks.
